Will the park be open to the public?

Yes, the park will be open to all Austinites (and non-Austinites!), so invite your friends!

What is the construction timeline for Skyline Park?

We officially broke ground on Skyline Park August 3, 2022. The park is expected to be complete sometime in 2023, and we’ll provide updates as construction progresses.

Will Skyline Park include any water features?

Yes! Skyline Park will include an interactive splash pad with a 3,500 sq. ft. spray zone; natural stone benches will provide seating around the splash pad! Get your swimsuits ready – this super-sized water zone will include:

Arching jets that create a tunnel feature to run through
2 lava mounds
8 misting jets
Spray rings and jets that create interactive water cages
Jet clusters that create a fog bank

Are there any plans for another pool in Easton Park?

We’re working on it, but these plans are still in the design phase. Know that we’re actively exploring opportunities to include more water features throughout parks in the neighborhood.

Will Skyline Park include any structured buildings?

Yes! Skyline Park will include an open-air pavilion with restrooms and space to host gatherings.

Will the trees at Skyline Park remain in place?

Easton Park has a strong commitment to our trees, and the beloved heritage oak tree located in the future Skyline Park will remain for all to enjoy. We are currently exceeding the City of Austin tree mitigation requirement by preserving, and actively planting many new trees.
